ESL -
English as a Second Language
A specially trained English as a Second Language (ESL)
teacher supports the learning of students
whose first language is not English. The ESL teacher works with small
groups of students on many language based activities.
|
|
LOTE - LANGUAGES OTHER
THAN ENGLISH
The school offers opportunities for students to learn
another language and its culture within the school program. A specialist teacher teaches Greek to native speakers. Greek is also available to non-native speakers of the
language.
A Turkish teacher provides lessons for the native speakers of
Turkish.
|
STLA - SUPPORT TEACHER
LEARNING ASSISTANCE
A special teacher is available to
help students experiencing difficulties with their
learning.
|
ART
The school
is fortunate in having a Visual Arts teacher who teaches each class
every week as part of the Release from Face to Face (RFF)teaching
program. The standard of art work in the
school is high as can be seen in displays. Every student has his/her own portfolio in which to store
finished work.
